Hi, I'm Gord!
I got my start as a copywriter in medium market radio stations and ad agencies in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. From copywriting, I graduated to account management and strategy in marketing & PR agencies with regional and national accounts. The early part of my career focused mostly on B2C marketing communications. I helped launch one of western Canada's first and most successful regional breweries, developed and executed creative marketing strategies for tourism organizations and attractions, and managed public relations and stakeholder engagement programs for large natural resource companies like Weyerhaeuser (pulp & paper industry) and Cameco Corporation (uranium mining & nuclear). 
After moving to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 2001, the focus of my work shifted more to B2B marketing and PR. I have run my own marketing, design, & PR agency. I created, launched, and managed marketing campaigns and special events for the City of Calgary, multiple oil & gas software companies, industry associations, professional services firms, economic development, meetings & incentive travel authorities.
